Convert Lottie to MP4
Export a Lottie animation as an MP4 (H.264) video — ready for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, ads, and video editors.
How it works
- 1Upload a Lottie file (.json, .lottie, or .tgs), or try the example
- 2Adjust frame rate, quality, resolution and transparency
- 3Export to any format — or optimize and repackage as dotLottie
Nothing is uploaded. SVG output uses SMIL and needs no JavaScript; APNG and WebM keep the full color and transparency GIF can't.
About converting Lottie to MP4
MP4 is the format social platforms, ad networks, and editing tools expect. Converting your Lottie to MP4 lets you drop a crisp, hardware-friendly video anywhere a JSON animation won't play.
MP4 encoding uses your browser's built-in H.264 encoder via the WebCodecs API. Most desktop versions of Chrome and Edge support it; where it isn't available, the MP4 button is disabled and WebM is the recommended alternative (it's supported far more widely and also keeps transparency). MP4 itself has no alpha channel — for a transparent video, use WebM.

Frequently asked questions
Which browsers can export MP4?+
MP4/H.264 depends on your browser's WebCodecs encoder — typically available in desktop Chrome and Edge. If it's unavailable the button is disabled; use WebM instead.
Can the MP4 have a transparent background?+
No — MP4/H.264 has no alpha channel. For transparent video, export WebM instead.
Is it free and private?+
Yes. It's free, and everything runs entirely in your browser — your file is never uploaded to a server.
