Privacy
The short version: your animations are converted entirely in your browser and are never uploaded. Here's exactly what that means, in plain English.
Last updated 2026-07-16.
Your files never leave your browser
Every conversion — GIF, MP4, WebM, APNG, SVG, PNG, WebP, dotLottie, and optimization — runs locally using your device's own processing. When you drop in a Lottie file, it is read, rendered, and encoded on your machine. It is never sent to a server, never stored, and never seen by us or anyone else.
There is no account, no login, and no upload step. Close the tab and nothing about your file remains anywhere.
Analytics
We use privacy-first, cookieless analytics (Simple Analytics and Vercel Analytics) to understand which pages and formats are useful. These do not use cookies, do not fingerprint you, and do not build a profile of you across sites. We honor the Do Not Track browser signal — if it's on, you aren't counted.
We only ever see aggregate, anonymous numbers (for example, “how many people visited the Lottie-to-GIF page this week”). Because no personal data or cookies are involved, there's no consent banner to click through.
Email you send us
If you join a waitlist or send us a message, we receive the email address and any note you include. We use it only to reply to you or to tell you when the feature you asked about is ready. We don't sell it, rent it, or add you to unrelated marketing.
Want your email removed? Just ask at kirylapps@gmail.com and it's gone.
What we don't do
No third-party ad networks. No selling or sharing of personal data. No cross-site tracking pixels. No cookies for advertising. The business model is a future optional Pro tier and render API — never your data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above. Questions are always welcome at kirylapps@gmail.com.
